Wine529 was born in 2013 out of the deep love of an old German for white wines of his native area - the famous German Wine Road, where people are “more thirsty” than anywhere else. Dehydrated for the past 20 years in his adopted land of Shandong, he turned to his fellow vintners and soon enough, the long-missed Riesling was cooling in his fridge. Since then, Wine529 has become a landmark for high value, quality wine. We do not look for the big shots or the old bottles, but for typical family owned wine estates which not only express terroir well, but which use traditional or innovative winemaking techniques and produce wines that give one an immensely satisfying feeling, making one feel at home once again.
